Swedish Standards Institute
Office of the highest standard
SIS is a non-profit association that is in charge of and coordinates standardisation in Sweden. Ahead of its move to new premises at Solnavägen 1E in Hagastaden, one of Stockholm’s growing districts, SIS turned to TEA for the interior design of the new office for its 170 employees.
The assignment was to create an attractive and modern meeting place that inspires communication and interaction between both the employees and the many clients of SIS.
So, in the light premises at the top of the newly constructed building, TEA designed generous spaces suitable for meetings, training courses and events. Displays for printed materials and screens for visual communication were also installed to enhance the client experience.
The design of the internal section of the office included both fixed and movable furnishings as well as inviting areas for physical and digital meetings. But there are also quiet rooms and permanent individual workspaces.
The office was ready for its new tenants in January 2017.
