Bella Sky
New rooms in a Danish hotel
Bella Sky in Copenhagen is the largest hotel in Scandinavia, and with its bold geometric architecture it is a distinctive landmark in the city. In addition to 814 guest rooms, the conference hotel also has a lobby bar, three restaurants and a sky bar up on the 23rd floor.
In 2011, the then owner of Bella Center turned to TEA for help in refurbishing the five restaurant and bar areas. TEA’s challenge was to create a unique interior for each setting, giving the guest a personal yet unexpected experience. One of the most dominant features of the new decor was a 180m2 wall of lush green plants, that reflected the organic and authentic nature of the materials chosen.
Every restaurant was re-designed in a warm, colourful and easy-going style. For example, the library restaurant is, as the name suggests, a restful place where the soft lighting and classic Danish sofas encircle the locally produced food on the menu.
