    Haga Norra
Two city blocks in new district

TEA has designed two blocks in the new district of Haga norra. The district will have a key role in the connection between Solna and Stockholm and the project has shown the importance of making a long-term sustainable mark on both the building design and living environment. Buildings speak directly to both the street environment and the residents and we have given strong identity to each addresses in the two blocks. This provides orientation and variation, which enriches the local environment. The challenge has been to compose façade materials, color scheme and volume design and at the same time refine the customer’s vision and the district’s future character. Haga Norra is a collaborative project between the builders BRABO and Fabege, the architects TEA and BAU (who designed the commercial premises) and the contractor Zengun. The scale and complexity of the project suits TEA and we look forward to the completion of 418 apartments spread over two blocks with a BTA of 31,400 square meters. Construction began in 2018 and the first move-in is planned for 2021-22.
