Blasieholmsgatans Entranceway
A representative welcome
Humlegårdens Fastigheter is part of the Länsförsäkringsgruppen and has an ambition to be the most successful real estate company in Stockholm. A majority of their real estate is located in central Stockholm.
During recent years, Humlegården has carried out an extensive renovation project in which the communal areas in a number of buildings have been re-vamped. The purpose is to provide tenants with a more representative setting for their respective reception areas.
One such space that has received a face-lift is in the building at Blasieholmsgatan 5. TEA was asked to update both the interior and exterior of the entranceway at this address.
TEA took inspiration from the vector patterns, materials and craftsmanship of the interiors of classic boats to create an entrance that is an elegant, modern twist on a timeless nautical theme. Dark oak panels stretch up from a light limestone floor blending perfectly with the brass fittings under a bespoke ceiling made of perforated steel.
The new entrance to Blasieholmsgatan 5 was completed in beginning of 2012.
