TEA was hired by Humlegården Fastigheter (real estate) to create a concept and interior design for the restaurant Villa Wera in Solna Strand, on the outskirts of Stockholm.

Three well-established restaurant personalities – Andreas Hedlund, Johan Lundström and Jenny Härstam Edlund – from some of Stockholm’s best-known top restaurants manage the ambitious lunch restaurant. The concept offers an energizing and social meeting place where the kitchen serves breakfast and lunch, and there’s also a deli for those who want to take food home in the evening.

The restaurant was named after the villa that was previously located at the address Vretenvägen 13. It’s this same original villa that has been the main source of inspiration for the interior design. The visitor is met by a modern interior with fine carpentry in the panels and a beautiful tiled floor inspired by the farms around the old merchant villa.

Villa Wera opened its doors on 17th August, 2015.
