Ever since Oscar Jacobson opened its first tailoring shop in 1903 the company’s suits have been known for their careful craftsmanship, ingenious details and classic style.

So, in 2011, when TEA helped Oscar Jacobson with the re-design of their shop on Birger Jarlsgatan in Stockholm, it was obvious that we would use these values to create a concept that exuded the same classic elegance as their brand.

A unique lighting concept was also created in close collaboration with Ateljé Lyktan (lighting). Hanging lamps with hand-spun aluminium shades add to the feeling of authentic handcraft and rich diversity.

The lamps were first fitted in Oscar Jacobson’s shop in Stockholm’s NK department store, then in the shop on Birger Jarlsgatan, and today they also adorn the Oscar Jacobson shops in Oslo and Helsinki.
